I like store bought Bertolli pesto as much as the next person. But I finally decided to make my own pesto. Didn’t really follow a recipe. Took several handfuls of fresh basil, a handful of fresh parsley, half a handful of fresh cilantro, half a handful of pine nuts…started up the blender and started streaming in EVOO. Added several teaspoons of S&P. As the mixture started to liquify, I blended in a handful of parmesan cheese. And….voila!
Mixed in the pesto with freshly handmade linguine pasta…sprinkled some more S&P and parmesan cheese.
